YCC Welcomes New Executive Director

(WHITEHORSE, Yukon) The Yukon Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the hiring of Luke Pantin as our new Executive Director.
Luke is a respected practitioner of with over 45 years of experience working in support of public/private administration, strategic planning, organizational change management and innovation, sustainable community economic development, tourism and culture, community leadership and organizational management.
Beyond his many years of public sector and NGO experience in the North, Luke has worked extensively across Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean and brings a strong foundation of knowledge on the administration of federal, provincial, territorial, municipal, Aboriginal, public and private institutions to the Chamber.
Luke is a former Assistant Deputy Minister of Economic Development for the Governments of Yukon and Alberta and has held directorships on various boards and public policy teams, including:
- AT&T Latin America & Caribbean Distribution Council
- Economic Developers Association of Alberta
- Economic Developers Association of British Columbia
- Canadian Manufacturing & Exporting Association
- Economic Developers Association of Canada
- International Economic Development Council
- Circumpolar Council
