Canadian Chamber of Commerce hosts a special, diversity and inclusion panel to our upcoming Women in Business Summit on June 23.
More than just the pandemic has dominated the news this past year. A number of incidents and movements have caught the business community’s attention and have put a renewed emphasis on the importance of environmental, social and corporate governance. When we look at empowering an inclusive recovery, we need to focus on creating a recovery that is sustainable and works in a way that is effective and fair for all Canadians.
Moderated by Rose Kattackal, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor at the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, this panel of experts will discuss the critical responsibility employers have to fill their talent and skills gaps with underrepresented members of the Canadian population in order to build back a better and stronger economy.
FEATURED SPEAKERS INCLUDE:
Angelita Graham, Partner, Mercer
Jennifer Cooke, Director, Inclusive Trade, EDC
Max Brault, Vice President, Strategy & Operations, BDO Canada
Sheila North, Director, Legacy Bowes Group
From stories of resilience to conversations about upskilling and reskilling, diversity and mental health, our Women in Business Summit will focus on the ways the Canadian chamber of commerce network, businesses and community leaders can work together to support women in the workforce through the pandemic and towards an inclusive recovery.
